Water Damage Restoration

Groundwater & Basement Intrusion

Basement seepage, failed sumps and water through the slab are extracted and dried, and the path from the ground is found so the floor stays dry next season.

Available through independent local providers in 1233 cities across 50 states.

Scoped on site by the contractor who visits - never over the phone.

What it is

Water arriving from below or beside the building rather than from a pipe or the sky: a high water table pressing through a basement wall or slab, a sump that failed, a footing drain that clogged, or a grade that now sends the yard's water toward the foundation. It is a system that delivers water, so drying the floor without changing the system is a temporary result.

When it is needed

A basement, crawl space or slab floor that wets after a rainy week with the roof and plumbing intact, a sump running constantly or not at all, water at the base of a foundation wall, or a lowest floor that never quite dries out through a wet season.

What it typically involves

The first task is naming the path: through the wall, up through the slab, back through a floor drain, in at a window well, or from a sump that stopped. Water is extracted and the space is dried as for any other loss, with one difference in the sorting: water that has been through soil is treated as contaminated, so porous materials it touched come out. Then the delivery is addressed, whether that is the sump, the drainage, the grading or the wall itself, because the drying only holds if the water stops arriving.
