24/7 Emergency
24/7 Emergency Water Extraction in Lewisville, TX
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows. Free water is pumped and extracted first, from hard floors and out of carpet and pad, before it climbs further into drywall and subfloor. The wet edge is metered and marked while the water is fresh, and drying equipment goes in the same day, because extraction is where the size of the job is decided.

Frequently asked questions
What is the ledge at the bottom of the brick?
Part of the slab. The floor was poured with a turned-down edge and a shelf formed into it to carry the weight of the masonry, so there is a concrete step running round the building under the brick. Anything draining down the back of that wall arrives on it.
Where is it supposed to go from there?
Out through openings left in the bottom course. That is the whole design: water gets behind brick, runs down and leaves at the ledge. When those openings are blocked by mortar or by landscaping built up against the wall, the water has nowhere to go and stands on the shelf instead.
What does standing water on the ledge reach?
The bottom plate of the wall above it and the edge of the slab itself. That is the lowest timber in the building and it is being fed from the outside, so the damage starts there and works up, and the room inside reads dry at hand height while the base is wet.
