Groundwater & Basement Water Intrusion in Frisco, TX
Basement seepage, failed sumps and water through the slab are extracted and dried, and the path from the ground is found so the floor stays dry next season. The path from the ground is named first: through the wall, up through the slab, back through a drain, or from a sump that stopped. The space is extracted and dried, with the porous materials the water touched removed, and the delivery is addressed, because a dried floor only stays dry if the water stops arriving.
No obligation: the assessment comes before any scope
Often needed alongside
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Mold Inspection & Testing
An independent assessor confirms whether the assembly that got wet is actually dry, whether growth started while it was not, and how far it reaches.
Frequently asked questions
The slab cannot be cut. How is a leak under it handled?
The line is normally rerouted rather than chased. A post-tensioned slab carries steel tendons under load and cutting it is not a repair decision made lightly, so the supply is rerun overhead or around, and the water already under and in the floor is dried from above. The finish floor comes up so the concrete can be read directly.
What happens to engineered flooring after a loss?
It depends on how long it sat and how the joints reacted. Engineered board is a thin wear layer over a plywood core, and once the joints swell they do not return to flat. The floor is lifted so the slab can dry either way, and boards that have swollen at the edges are replaced rather than relaid.
Why does a May loss take longer than a winter one here?
May is the wettest month at over five inches and the warm season is already running, so outdoor air offers less help and the heat drives moisture deeper into absorbent material. The same loss in a dry, cool stretch would release faster. Equipment is sized to the season rather than to a fixed schedule.
