24/7 Emergency Water Extraction in Tampa, FL

Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows. Free water is pumped and extracted first, from hard floors and out of carpet and pad, before it climbs further into drywall and subfloor. The wet edge is metered and marked while the water is fresh, and drying equipment goes in the same day, because extraction is where the size of the job is decided.

No obligation: the assessment comes before any scope

Often needed alongside

  • Structural Drying & Dehumidification

Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.

  • Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup

Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading.

Frequently asked questions

How long does drying take during the afternoon-storm season here?

Longer than a winter job in the same house. Between June and September the outdoor air is loaded with moisture, so the space has to stay sealed and the dehumidifiers work harder for a longer run. A wet floor that would take three or four days in January can take a week in August; the readings decide.

Is a block house dried the same way as a frame house here?

No. A block wall holds water in its cores and is dried by opening the base and pushing air through; a wood-frame wall with drywall usually has the wet sheet cut out and the studs dried directly. Tampa has both kinds side by side, so the contractor confirms the wall type before writing the scope.

The air conditioner leaked into a closet ceiling. What has to come out?

The wet insulation and, usually, the drywall it soaked, and then the cavity is dried before anything closes. Condensate lines back up most in the wet season, when the system runs hardest, and the water sits in the cavity above the stain. The line is cleared or repaired first, then the drying runs to a reading, then the ceiling is patched.
