Groundwater & Basement Water Intrusion in Pinecrest, FL
Basement seepage, failed sumps and water through the slab are extracted and dried, and the path from the ground is found so the floor stays dry next season. The path from the ground is named first: through the wall, up through the slab, back through a drain, or from a sump that stopped. The space is extracted and dried, with the porous materials the water touched removed, and the delivery is addressed, because a dried floor only stays dry if the water stops arriving.

Often needed alongside
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Mold Inspection & Testing
An independent assessor confirms whether the assembly that got wet is actually dry, whether growth started while it was not, and how far it reaches.
Frequently asked questions
What is under the grass here?
A few inches of imported soil and then limestone. The rock is close enough to the surface that most planting here goes into holes broken into it, and the drainage of a property depends on how porous that particular piece of rock is.
Why does one lot drain and the next one not?
Because the rock is not uniform. Oolitic limestone has openings dissolved through it in some places and is very nearly solid in others, so two neighboring properties can behave completely differently with the same rainfall, the same grading and the same roof area.
What can regrading achieve with so little soil?
Less than usual, which is worth knowing before paying for it. There is no depth to cut into, so the useful work is generally building up a fall away from the house with imported material and creating somewhere for water to sit briefly before it soaks.
