24/7 Emergency
24/7 Emergency Water Extraction in Grand Junction, CO
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows. Free water is pumped and extracted first, from hard floors and out of carpet and pad, before it climbs further into drywall and subfloor. The wet edge is metered and marked while the water is fresh, and drying equipment goes in the same day, because extraction is where the size of the job is decided.

Frequently asked questions
What is the white deposit on the slab?
Mineral salts brought up out of the ground. The soils here carry a lot of them and they have never been washed out because it barely rains, so when water moves through a slab it carries them to the surface and leaves them there as the moisture evaporates.
Why does that matter for the floor?
Because the deposits form under anything bonded to the concrete. Salt crystallizing at the surface exerts real pressure, so an adhesive or a covering laid over a slab that is still bringing them up gets pushed off from beneath. The floor fails weeks after the drying was signed off.
What has to happen before a new floor goes down?
The slab has to stop moving moisture, and the surface has to be cleaned of what has already come up. Readings are taken over several days to confirm it has settled, and the deposits are removed rather than covered, because anything left under a new covering will keep working.
