Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup in Cheyenne, WY

Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading. The affected area is sealed off from the rest of the house. Porous materials the water reached come out and are bagged, with drywall cut to a margin above the visible line; hard surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. The space is then dried and read, and the containment comes down only when cleaning and drying are both finished.

Often needed alongside

  • Emergency Water Extraction

Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.

  • Structural Drying & Dehumidification

Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.

  • Mold Remediation

Growth and the material it grew into come out under containment, what remains is cleaned, and the assembly is dried and read before anything closes it in.

Frequently asked questions

Why do most failures happen in February rather than at the first freeze?

Because cold accumulates. A building that has been through three months of freezing weather has frost at full depth around it and every unheated corner as cold as it will get. The first hard night in November lands on a structure that is still holding some warmth; the same night in February lands on one that is not.

What is worth checking before late winter?

Anything on an outside wall, in a crawl space or in an unheated room, and the heat reaching those places. It is a building question rather than a drying one, but the failures here are predictable enough that they are worth heading off. A crawl space that is open to the air in December is the usual candidate.

How does a February loss differ from a spring one in practice?

The building has to be warmed before anything works. Framing and concrete at February temperature will not release whatever equipment is running, so heat comes first and the run is longer for it. Against that, once the space is warm the indoor air is exceptionally dry and the readings fall quickly.
