24/7 Emergency
Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup in Redmond, WA
Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading. The affected area is sealed off from the rest of the house. Porous materials the water reached come out and are bagged, with drywall cut to a margin above the visible line; hard surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. The space is then dried and read, and the containment comes down only when cleaning and drying are both finished.

Often needed alongside
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Mold Remediation
Growth and the material it grew into come out under containment, what remains is cleaned, and the assembly is dried and read before anything closes it in.
Frequently asked questions
What does the valve do?
It holds the column of water in the discharge pipe when the pump switches off. Without it, everything in that pipe above the pump runs back into the pit, which fills the pit again and starts the pump. The pump then spends its life lifting the same water over and over.
How would I know it has failed?
By listening. A short cycle with a distinct gurgle a second or two after the pump stops is the sound of the line emptying backward. A pump running every few minutes through a wet spell when it used to run every twenty is telling you the same thing.
Does it matter if the pump is keeping up anyway?
It matters for how long it will. A pump cycling several times an hour through a six-month wet season wears out years early, and it fails in the middle of that season rather than in August. The valve is a small part; replacing it protects the one piece of equipment the basement depends on.
