Structural Drying & Dehumidification in Waco, TX
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material. The wet area is sealed, air movers and dehumidifiers run as one system, and the material is read at marked points every day against a dry standard from an unaffected room. The equipment leaves on the readings rather than on a date, and the final readings are logged so the rebuild starts on a documented dry structure.

Often needed alongside
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Mold Inspection & Testing
An independent assessor confirms whether the assembly that got wet is actually dry, whether growth started while it was not, and how far it reaches.
Frequently asked questions
Why did water reach the ceiling so fast?
Because there is no continuous deck above it. The boards are laid with gaps between them, so anything that gets past the covering drops straight through rather than running along a surface to an edge. The ceiling below is wet within minutes rather than after hours, and the wet area maps to the roof above it.
What has to come out of the attic?
The insulation along the wet run, before anything can be judged. It sits on the ceiling board holding water where the board is weakest, so it is cleared first and the framing and the back of the ceiling are then read directly. The decking itself is checked at the same time for anything that has softened.
Does an autumn loss run longer than a summer one?
Noticeably. In July an attic runs far hotter than the house and does much of the drying by itself; in October it is mild, and the wettest month lands there. The same loss in the heaviest rain of the year gets the least help from the space it happened in, so the equipment does more and runs longer.
