24/7 Emergency
Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup in Mesquite, TX
Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading. The affected area is sealed off from the rest of the house. Porous materials the water reached come out and are bagged, with drywall cut to a margin above the visible line; hard surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. The space is then dried and read, and the containment comes down only when cleaning and drying are both finished.

Often needed alongside
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Mold Remediation
Growth and the material it grew into come out under containment, what remains is cleaned, and the assembly is dried and read before anything closes it in.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the roof deck spaced rather than solid?
Because it was built for wood shakes, which need air moving under them to dry. The boards were laid with gaps between deliberately. When the shakes were later replaced with shingles, most roofers simply laid the new covering over the same open decking.
What happens when a shingle breaks?
There may be nothing behind it. Over a solid deck a cracked shingle leaks slowly; over a gap it leaks straight into the attic. It also means the shingles are unsupported at every gap, so hail and anyone walking the roof break them more easily.
Should the deck be sheeted over?
At the next roof replacement, yes, and it is worth budgeting for at that point rather than as its own job. Laying a continuous deck over the old boards adds a real cost to the roof and takes the mechanism away completely.
