Storm & Flood Damage Recovery in Cedar Park, TX
The opening is closed, the water is extracted, materials floodwater touched come out, and the structure is dried and rebuilt in that order. The opening is closed first, with tarps or board-up, so the building stops taking on water. Floodwater is extracted, and the porous materials it touched come out rather than dry, since it crossed ground outside. The structure is dried and re-read, and the rebuild waits until the readings and the roof both allow it.

Often needed alongside
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup
Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from a brick front?
By the gap. A brick veneer stands off the wall with a cavity behind it that drains, and this does not: the stone is thin and bedded in mortar straight onto the sheathing, so there is nothing between the facing and the wall and nowhere for water to go.
What happens to the sheathing?
It stays wet. Water that gets through the facing or its joints has no cavity to drain down, so it sits against the board behind and soaks in, and in a wall with no gap there is no route for it to dry outward either. That is where the damage is.
How is the extent established?
From inside, because nothing outside shows it. The stone looks the same whatever is behind it, so the wall is read from the room face and opened where the readings lead. Taking the facing off is destructive and is a last step rather than a first.
