24/7 Emergency
24/7 Emergency Water Extraction in Gallatin, TN
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows. Free water is pumped and extracted first, from hard floors and out of carpet and pad, before it climbs further into drywall and subfloor. The wet edge is metered and marked while the water is fresh, and drying equipment goes in the same day, because extraction is where the size of the job is decided.

Often needed alongside
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup
Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading.
Frequently asked questions
The heater stopped and the wall beneath it is wet. What happened?
Most likely the condensate drain froze. These units produce water continuously while running and take it out through a small line in the exterior wall, and in a cold snap that line ices up. The water then backs into the unit and out into the wall cavity behind it, which is where it shows.
How far down does that kind of loss go?
To the bottom of the bay, usually. Water released inside a stud cavity runs down to the plate and collects there, so the wet area is the full height of the wall below the unit even though the failure is at the top. The wall is opened low as well as at the unit.
Is this likely to happen again?
If nothing changes about the line, yes, and it is worth raising. Whether the drain is rerouted, insulated or heat-traced is a mechanical decision rather than a drying one, but the wall is already open and the same three cold months come round every year. Doing it once is much cheaper than twice.
