24/7 Emergency
Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup in Eugene, OR
Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading. The affected area is sealed off from the rest of the house. Porous materials the water reached come out and are bagged, with drywall cut to a margin above the visible line; hard surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. The space is then dried and read, and the containment comes down only when cleaning and drying are both finished.

Often needed alongside
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Mold Remediation
Growth and the material it grew into come out under containment, what remains is cleaned, and the assembly is dried and read before anything closes it in.
Frequently asked questions
What was the south glazing for?
Solar heating. The idea was that a large glazed south wall would collect winter sun and a heavy floor inside would store it, reducing the heating needed. It was widely built here in that period, and the principle works better in a sunnier climate.
Why is so much of it failing now?
Because it is all the same age. Sealed units have a life of twenty to thirty years, and a wall of them installed at once reaches that point together, so a house can go from one failed pane to half the wall inside a few seasons.
What happens at the floor below it?
It takes the water. The heavy slab or tile floor that was meant to store heat runs right up to the glazing, so water getting past a sill soaks into a thick porous floor rather than running across a surface. That dries slowly and from one face only.
