24/7 Emergency Water Extraction in Albany, OR

Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows. Free water is pumped and extracted first, from hard floors and out of carpet and pad, before it climbs further into drywall and subfloor. The wet edge is metered and marked while the water is fresh, and drying equipment goes in the same day, because extraction is where the size of the job is decided.

Often needed alongside

  • Structural Drying & Dehumidification

Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.

  • Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup

Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading.

Frequently asked questions

Why is there water on top of the crawl liner?

Because the ground under it has risen. The sheet is there to stop soil moisture coming up, which it does while the water table is below it, but in the wettest months here that table comes up above the crawl floor and lifts the sheet, so the water ends up on top.

Does the liner make it worse?

In that condition, yes. Water that would have soaked back into the ground as the table fell is instead held in the folds of a floating sheet, where it sits under the floor structure with no way down and very little air. The barrier becomes a tray.

What is done about the sheet?

It is lifted and the water dealt with directly, and then the question is whether it goes back the same way. A liner laid over ground that floods seasonally needs somewhere for the water to go, which usually means drainage and a pump rather than a sheet alone.
