24/7 Emergency
Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup in Fairfield, OH
Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading. The affected area is sealed off from the rest of the house. Porous materials the water reached come out and are bagged, with drywall cut to a margin above the visible line; hard surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. The space is then dried and read, and the containment comes down only when cleaning and drying are both finished.

Often needed alongside
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Mold Remediation
Growth and the material it grew into come out under containment, what remains is cleaned, and the assembly is dried and read before anything closes it in.
Frequently asked questions
The deck looks sound. Why is the framing inside wet?
Because of how it is attached. A ledger is bolted through the outer skin into the band joist, and water running down the house behind the deck boards sits at that connection. The deck can be perfectly sound while the framing it is fixed to is soaking, and nothing about it is visible from either side.
What has to be opened to get at it?
The rim space from inside, along the run of the ledger. That usually means removing the finish and the insulation in the joist bays at the outside wall so the band can be read with pins and have air directed at it. Where the framing has softened rather than simply got wet, the repair is structural and the deck comes off.
Is April a bad time to find one?
It is the worst of the year. The heaviest rain arrives while the ground and the structure are still cold from five freezing months, so the band joist is at its least willing to release just as it is taking the most water. The same condition found in August is a straightforward job.
