24/7 Emergency
Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup in Peekskill, NY
Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading. The affected area is sealed off from the rest of the house. Porous materials the water reached come out and are bagged, with drywall cut to a margin above the visible line; hard surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. The space is then dried and read, and the containment comes down only when cleaning and drying are both finished.

Often needed alongside
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Mold Remediation
Growth and the material it grew into come out under containment, what remains is cleaned, and the assembly is dried and read before anything closes it in.
Frequently asked questions
What happens to a drive like this in a storm?
It becomes a channel. The drive is paved, it falls from the street to the building, and anything the street sheds at that point joins what falls on the drive itself. Where the curb line does not hold the road's water back, a heavy storm sends a good deal of it down toward the garage.
Is a drain at the bottom enough?
Only if it is sized for the whole slope and kept clear, and most are neither. A small grating at the garage door was put there for the drive alone. It also has to work in February, when the bottom of a shaded drive holds ice and the grating is under it.
What can be done at the top instead?
Intercepting the water before it starts down is far more effective. A raised lip or a shallow channel across the head of the drive turns the street's runoff back to the curb, which removes most of the volume. Dealing with it at the bottom means handling everything the slope has collected.
