24/7 Emergency
24/7 Emergency Water Extraction in Hackensack, NJ
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows. Free water is pumped and extracted first, from hard floors and out of carpet and pad, before it climbs further into drywall and subfloor. The wet edge is metered and marked while the water is fresh, and drying equipment goes in the same day, because extraction is where the size of the job is decided.

Often needed alongside
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup
Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading.
Frequently asked questions
How does a loss on an upper floor reach the basement?
Down the refuse chute. It is a continuous shaft running the full height of the building with an opening on every landing, so water crossing a corridor floor finds it and goes straight to the room at the bottom, passing every floor in between without touching them.
What is the damage at the base?
Contaminated rather than clean, which changes everything about it. The room at the bottom of a refuse chute is not a place where clean water arrives, so whatever it reaches comes out on that basis, and the space is cleaned before it is dried rather than after.
Is the shaft itself dried?
It has to be, and it is awkward. A tall closed shaft has no ventilation and equipment in the room at the bottom does nothing for the middle of it, so air is introduced at the base and exhausted at the top so that something actually moves through the length of it.
