Structural Drying & Dehumidification in Fargo, ND

Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material. The wet area is sealed, air movers and dehumidifiers run as one system, and the material is read at marked points every day against a dry standard from an unaffected room. The equipment leaves on the readings rather than on a date, and the final readings are logged so the rebuild starts on a documented dry structure.

No obligation: the assessment comes before any scope

Often needed alongside

  • Emergency Water Extraction

Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.

  • Mold Inspection & Testing

An independent assessor confirms whether the assembly that got wet is actually dry, whether growth started while it was not, and how far it reaches.

Frequently asked questions

Why is water coming up through the floor?

Because the ground water is higher than the floor is. On flat valley ground that drains slowly, the spring melt raises the water table above the level of a deep basement slab, and it then pushes up through every joint and crack the floor has. It is pressure rather than seepage.

Does that mean the foundation has failed?

Not usually. A slab is not built to hold back standing water from beneath, so water appearing through the floor in the spring is the ground doing something the building was never designed to resist rather than a defect in it. The distinction matters for what gets repaired.

How long does the pumping go on?

As long as the melt does, which is weeks rather than days. The water table stays high while the ground is releasing, so a system that keeps up during a storm can run continuously through the spring. That is planned for rather than treated as a fault.
