24/7 Emergency
24/7 Emergency Water Extraction in Clarksdale, MS
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows. Free water is pumped and extracted first, from hard floors and out of carpet and pad, before it climbs further into drywall and subfloor. The wet edge is metered and marked while the water is fresh, and drying equipment goes in the same day, because extraction is where the size of the job is decided.

Often needed alongside
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup
Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading.
Frequently asked questions
Why does a ceiling take so long to dry here?
Because of what is above it. An attic with a vent at each end and nothing at the eaves has no air moving through it, so it sits humid from spring onward. A wet ceiling is releasing into a space that is already carrying as much as it can hold, and it does that very slowly.
Does equipment go into the attic?
It usually has to. Moving air in the room below does very little for the top of the ceiling board, so the space above is opened up at the hatch, wet insulation comes out and air is introduced and exhausted through the attic itself. Otherwise the assembly is being dried from one side only.
What should be read before the work is signed off?
The attic as well as the room. An unaffected part of the same space is measured to establish what it normally runs at, because a reading up there will never look like a reading in the house. The affected area is brought back to that rather than to a figure from anywhere else.
