24/7 Emergency Water Extraction in Florissant, MO

Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows. Free water is pumped and extracted first, from hard floors and out of carpet and pad, before it climbs further into drywall and subfloor. The wet edge is metered and marked while the water is fresh, and drying equipment goes in the same day, because extraction is where the size of the job is decided.

No obligation: the assessment comes before any scope

Often needed alongside

  • Structural Drying & Dehumidification

Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.

  • Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup

Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading.

Frequently asked questions

A ceiling tile fell and there is water above it. What happens first?

The grid comes down over the wet area and the floor structure above is read. Tiles hold water and hide the bays completely, so the extent is unknown until they are out. Wet tiles are discarded rather than dried. The joists and subfloor above are then checked with pins, and the wall below is read at its base.

Why does a spring loss in the rec room run past the estimate?

Eight to twelve days, and the season is the reason. The concrete is still carrying winter temperature while the outside air has turned humid, so any ventilation condenses onto the floor and walls. The room is sealed and dehumidified, the wall bases are opened to reach the poured concrete, and readings are taken on the concrete itself.

Why open the bottom of the wall when the water came from the ceiling?

Because that is where it ended up. Water that comes through a ceiling runs down the face of the board or inside the furred cavity and collects at the floor, where the bottom plate sits on concrete. A low opening lets the plate, the cavity and the wall behind be read and dried. Without it the wall is being guessed at.
