24/7 Emergency
24/7 Emergency Water Extraction in Edina, MN
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows. Free water is pumped and extracted first, from hard floors and out of carpet and pad, before it climbs further into drywall and subfloor. The wet edge is metered and marked while the water is fresh, and drying equipment goes in the same day, because extraction is where the size of the job is decided.

Often needed alongside
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup
Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading.
Frequently asked questions
Why does a summer loss down here behave worst?
Because the floor is cold and the air is not. The slab sits on ground that stays near fifty degrees whatever the season, and in the one humid stretch of the year that makes it the surface everything condenses onto. The same loss in January dries faster, even though the water is identical.
Is moving more air enough to dry a lower level?
Not on its own. Air moved across a cold slab picks up very little, because the floor keeps pulling moisture back out of it. The slab has to be brought up in temperature as well, usually with heat directed at the floor, before the air movement starts doing anything measurable.
What is checked before the floor covering goes back?
The slab, over several days rather than once. A floor that reads acceptable on a warm afternoon can be giving up moisture again the next morning, because the concrete is responding to the ground rather than to the room. Repeated readings that stay flat are what allow a covering to go back down.
