24/7 Emergency
Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup in Eagan, MN
Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading. The affected area is sealed off from the rest of the house. Porous materials the water reached come out and are bagged, with drywall cut to a margin above the visible line; hard surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. The space is then dried and read, and the containment comes down only when cleaning and drying are both finished.

Often needed alongside
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Mold Remediation
Growth and the material it grew into come out under containment, what remains is cleaned, and the assembly is dried and read before anything closes it in.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the bottom of the wall the problem rather than the middle?
Because of what is under it. In a basement finished after the house was built, the bottom plate is often ordinary lumber laid straight onto the slab with nothing between. Concrete carries some moisture all the time, so that plate sits damp as a normal condition and a loss takes it straight past where it can recover.
Does the framing have to come out or can it be dried?
It depends on how far gone it is. A plate that is wet but sound is dried in place once the board is cut back and air can reach it. A plate that has softened has been wet for a long time before this loss and is replaced, and the wall is rebuilt off a barrier so the same thing does not recur.
Is June the awkward month for this?
It is. The heaviest rain of the year arrives while the slab is still carrying the cold of a five-month winter, so the floor is at its least willing to release just as the ground outside is at its wettest. The same loss in September, with the concrete warm, finishes several days sooner.
