24/7 Emergency
24/7 Emergency Water Extraction in Burnsville, MN
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows. Free water is pumped and extracted first, from hard floors and out of carpet and pad, before it climbs further into drywall and subfloor. The wet edge is metered and marked while the water is fresh, and drying equipment goes in the same day, because extraction is where the size of the job is decided.

Often needed alongside
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup
Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the lower level being dried two different ways?
Because it is two different walls. Above grade it is studs, batt and board, which open at the base and dry with air moving through the cavity in a few days. Below grade it is concrete, which has to give its water up through one face and takes considerably longer. Readings are kept separate so neither hides the other.
Is a January loss really quicker than a July one?
Yes, noticeably. With lows near eight degrees the air the furnace is heating starts almost free of moisture, so the whole building is already being dried before any equipment arrives. In July the outside air is humid, the lower level is cool, and the same loss runs several days longer with the building sealed.
The insulation at the top of the concrete is wet. Does it come out?
Yes. Batt in a rim joist bay sits where the framed wall meets the concrete, which is the coldest part of the assembly and the place water collects. Wet batt there holds moisture directly against the joist ends and cannot be dried in place. It is pulled, the framing is read with pins, and it goes back after the wood holds.
