24/7 Emergency
Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup in Fenton, MI
Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading. The affected area is sealed off from the rest of the house. Porous materials the water reached come out and are bagged, with drywall cut to a margin above the visible line; hard surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. The space is then dried and read, and the containment comes down only when cleaning and drying are both finished.

Often needed alongside
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Mold Remediation
Growth and the material it grew into come out under containment, what remains is cleaned, and the assembly is dried and read before anything closes it in.
Frequently asked questions
What is the sequence when water comes up through the floor?
Source first, and it is not always obvious. Water arriving at the floor joint can be groundwater or a split service line underneath, and the two lead to completely different work. It is identified before anything is dried, because drying a basement while a broken line keeps feeding the ground under it achieves nothing.
Why does a line split where it cannot be seen?
Because that is where the cold reaches it. With five months averaging lows below freezing, frost goes deep enough to reach a service line under the floor, and the pipe there is surrounded by concrete and soil rather than by heated air. Nothing about the failure is visible until the water finds its way up.
Does the floor have to be broken to fix it?
Usually, and it changes the shape of the job. Reaching the service means cutting and lifting concrete at the entry point, which has to happen before the structure around it can be dried. The drying plan is written after the floor is open, because until then nobody knows how far the ground beneath has been fed.
