24/7 Emergency
Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup in Brunswick, ME
Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading. The affected area is sealed off from the rest of the house. Porous materials the water reached come out and are bagged, with drywall cut to a margin above the visible line; hard surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. The space is then dried and read, and the containment comes down only when cleaning and drying are both finished.

Often needed alongside
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Mold Remediation
Growth and the material it grew into come out under containment, what remains is cleaned, and the assembly is dried and read before anything closes it in.
Frequently asked questions
Why is October the difficult month?
Because two things land at once. It is the wettest month of the year here, six inches on average, and it is also when the hardwoods drop. A gutter takes its heaviest load of debris in exactly the four weeks it has the most water to carry.
What happens if they are not cleared before the freeze?
Whatever is in them stays there until spring. A gutter packed with wet leaves in November freezes solid, so it cannot carry anything at all through the winter thaws, and meltwater backs up over the edge and down the wall behind it.
When is the right time to clear them?
Late, once the leaves are actually down, which is usually the first half of November here. Clearing in early October means doing it twice. The date that matters is getting it done before the first hard freeze rather than before the rain.
