24/7 Emergency
Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup in Elizabethtown, KY
Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading. The affected area is sealed off from the rest of the house. Porous materials the water reached come out and are bagged, with drywall cut to a margin above the visible line; hard surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. The space is then dried and read, and the containment comes down only when cleaning and drying are both finished.

Often needed alongside
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Mold Remediation
Growth and the material it grew into come out under containment, what remains is cleaned, and the assembly is dried and read before anything closes it in.
Frequently asked questions
Where does a vinyl window let water in?
At the corners of the frame, nearly always the bottom two. Those joints are made at the factory and there is nothing maintaining them afterward, so thirty years of the frame expanding and contracting in the sun eventually opens a path at the weld.
Why is the stain a foot below the sill?
Because water entering at a bottom corner runs down inside the wall rather than into the room. It wets the framing under the opening and the finish below it, so the stain appears a foot or two beneath a window that looks entirely sound.
Does the whole unit need replacing?
Not always, and it is worth having the joint looked at before committing. A corner that has opened can sometimes be sealed from outside and the trim detail improved. Where the frame itself has distorted, replacement is the honest answer.
