Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup in Greenleaf, KS
Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading. The affected area is sealed off from the rest of the house. Porous materials the water reached come out and are bagged, with drywall cut to a margin above the visible line; hard surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. The space is then dried and read, and the containment comes down only when cleaning and drying are both finished.

Often needed alongside
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Mold Remediation
Growth and the material it grew into come out under containment, what remains is cleaned, and the assembly is dried and read before anything closes it in.
Frequently asked questions
The cellar wall has always been a bit damp. Is this different?
It is a matter of degree and the meter settles it. A wall laid without damp proofing carries some moisture as its normal condition, so the useful question is not whether it is damp but whether the reading is falling. A baseline is taken away from the loss, and the affected section is dried until it matches that rather than until it reads bone dry.
How long does an old stone cellar wall take?
Longer than anything fastened to it, and the joints are slowest. Stone and lime mortar hold water deep in the wall and give it up through the face over days. Nothing is refastened against it until the base readings hold steady, because furring fixed to a damp wall traps the moisture behind it and starts the problem again.
Does older framing dry differently from new lumber?
It is slower both ways. Dense old dimensional stock takes water in more slowly than modern framing and lets it go more slowly too, so it can still read wet days after the surfaces around it have finished. It generally survives well. The meter goes into the wood itself and the equipment stays until those numbers stop moving.
