24/7 Emergency
Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup in Columbus, GA
Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading. The affected area is sealed off from the rest of the house. Porous materials the water reached come out and are bagged, with drywall cut to a margin above the visible line; hard surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. The space is then dried and read, and the containment comes down only when cleaning and drying are both finished.

Often needed alongside
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Mold Remediation
Growth and the material it grew into come out under containment, what remains is cleaned, and the assembly is dried and read before anything closes it in.
Frequently asked questions
The heaviest rain is in March. Why is that harder than a summer storm?
Because nothing is helping yet. In March the ground is still holding winter water, the warm season has not started drying the building, and there is no cold enough winter here to have made the indoor air dry either. A summer loss at least gets warm air working for it once equipment is in.
The crawl space was pumped in March. When is it actually dry?
When the joists and the subfloor hold at the dry standard over several days. Standing water is the visible part and the quickest to deal with; the moisture that matters is in the framing and in the ground below it. If the space is shut while either is still releasing, that water moves up into the floor and returns as a problem later.
Does the mild winter help or hurt?
It mostly removes an option. In a cold climate the heating season produces very dry indoor air that finishes a job passively. With no freezing month and January lows near 33 degrees, that never happens here, so anything closed up damp stays damp. Every assembly is read to a number before it is shut.
