24/7 Emergency Water Extraction in Augusta, GA

Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows. Free water is pumped and extracted first, from hard floors and out of carpet and pad, before it climbs further into drywall and subfloor. The wet edge is metered and marked while the water is fresh, and drying equipment goes in the same day, because extraction is where the size of the job is decided.

Often needed alongside

  • Structural Drying & Dehumidification

Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.

  • Sewage & Contaminated Water Cleanup

Sewage and black-water losses are contained, the materials the water touched are removed and disposed of, hard surfaces are disinfected, and the space is dried to a reading.

Frequently asked questions

How high is too high for a planting bed?

Any bed whose surface is above the floor inside is too high, and once it is within a few inches of the siding it is too high as well. The building was detailed to have a gap between the ground and the wall covering, and everything about how that wall sheds water depends on the gap still being there.

What does the buried wall actually do?

It takes up water and holds it. Brick weeps that were meant to drain the cavity are below the mulch line and cannot discharge; siding that was meant to end clear of the ground is sitting in wet material. Both put moisture into the structure behind them steadily rather than in an event.

Is lowering a bed a real fix?

It is most of one, and it is cheap. Cutting the bed back to expose the bottom of the wall and grading it to fall away restores the gap the building needs. The plants can be replanted lower; what should not go back is the practice of adding an inch of fresh mulch on top every spring.
