24/7 Emergency
24/7 Emergency Water Extraction in Egypt Lake-Leto, FL
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows. Free water is pumped and extracted first, from hard floors and out of carpet and pad, before it climbs further into drywall and subfloor. The wet edge is metered and marked while the water is fresh, and drying equipment goes in the same day, because extraction is where the size of the job is decided.

Frequently asked questions
Why does the old tile matter after a slab gets wet?
Because it stops the slab drying the only way it can. Concrete gives moisture back upward, and a floor bonded to it with the adhesive of that period is effectively a vapor barrier. Anything laid on top is then sitting on trapped moisture, and it fails whether or not the slab was ever properly dried.
What does that do to the covering above it?
It releases it. Adhesive under a newer floor softens, planks cup and lift, and the pattern spreads well beyond where the water was. Because the cause is under two layers, people replace the visible floor and watch the same thing happen again eighteen months later.
What should happen before a new floor goes down?
A moisture test on the slab itself, with the old tile taken up where it has to be. That material is from an era when it was made with asbestos, so removal is handled by somebody set up for it rather than by whoever is laying the new floor. Establishing that early avoids a stopped job.
