Groundwater & Basement Water Intrusion in Castle Rock, CO
Basement seepage, failed sumps and water through the slab are extracted and dried, and the path from the ground is found so the floor stays dry next season. The path from the ground is named first: through the wall, up through the slab, back through a drain, or from a sump that stopped. The space is extracted and dried, with the porous materials the water touched removed, and the delivery is addressed, because a dried floor only stays dry if the water stops arriving.

Often needed alongside
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Mold Inspection & Testing
An independent assessor confirms whether the assembly that got wet is actually dry, whether growth started while it was not, and how far it reaches.
Frequently asked questions
Why is there more equipment here than the room size suggests?
Because the machines deliver less than their ratings at this elevation. Air movers and dehumidifiers are rated at conditions found much lower down, and thinner air means less mass moved and less water removed for the same nameplate figure. Sizing from the label alone leaves a job short, so the count is adjusted upward deliberately.
The surfaces dried very fast. Does that mean the sizing was fine?
Not on its own. Dry air brings exposed surfaces down quickly whatever the equipment is doing, so the room feeling finished proves very little. The measure of whether the plan is working is the cavity reading over consecutive days, and that is where an undersized setup shows itself.
Does the dry climate make this quick overall?
It helps a great deal once a space is open. Under twenty inches of precipitation a year means outside air can often be used directly, which shortens the run. The elevation takes some of that back, so the net is still favorable but less so than the rainfall figure alone would suggest.
