Groundwater & Basement Water Intrusion in Stockton, CA
Basement seepage, failed sumps and water through the slab are extracted and dried, and the path from the ground is found so the floor stays dry next season. The path from the ground is named first: through the wall, up through the slab, back through a drain, or from a sump that stopped. The space is extracted and dried, with the porous materials the water touched removed, and the delivery is addressed, because a dried floor only stays dry if the water stops arriving.

Often needed alongside
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Mold Inspection & Testing
An independent assessor confirms whether the assembly that got wet is actually dry, whether growth started while it was not, and how far it reaches.
Frequently asked questions
Why is one corner of the room so much worse than the rest?
Because the floor is not level any more. Ground here consolidates unevenly, so a slab or a raised floor develops a slope over the years and anything released in the room runs to the same low point every time. That corner holds standing water while the rest of the room takes only a film.
Does that change where the equipment goes?
It changes where the readings are taken more than where the machines sit. The low corner is read separately and it sets the finish date, because the material there has been standing in water rather than wetted by it. Base trim and covering at that corner usually come out even where the rest of the room can be dried in place.
Is a January loss much slower than a summer one?
Roughly twice as long. In August the air outside is hot and dry and can be used directly, so the building helps. In January it is saturated and cool, the ground is wet, and everything runs on equipment with the house closed. The low corner is the last thing to release in either season.
