Groundwater & Basement Water Intrusion in Oxnard, CA
Basement seepage, failed sumps and water through the slab are extracted and dried, and the path from the ground is found so the floor stays dry next season. The path from the ground is named first: through the wall, up through the slab, back through a drain, or from a sump that stopped. The space is extracted and dried, with the porous materials the water touched removed, and the delivery is addressed, because a dried floor only stays dry if the water stops arriving.

Often needed alongside
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Mold Inspection & Testing
An independent assessor confirms whether the assembly that got wet is actually dry, whether growth started while it was not, and how far it reaches.
Frequently asked questions
Why will the slab not come down to a dry reading?
Because it never was at one. The ground underneath sits close to saturated year round, so the concrete is in contact with a permanent supply and holds a moisture content that has nothing to do with the loss. The measurement that matters is against an unaffected part of the same floor, not against a standard figure.
Does the mild weather help or hurt?
Neither, which is the difficulty. A warm season that only reaches the low seventies never dries the building out, and there is so little rain that nothing ever soaks it either. The conditions are the same most of the year, so the equipment does effectively all the work whatever the date.
What can go back down on a floor like this?
Something that tolerates moisture from below, or nothing until the slab is treated. Bonding a covering onto a floor in contact with wet ground will fail the same way it did before, which is why that conversation happens early rather than at the end of the drying.
