Groundwater & Basement Water Intrusion in Lake Elsinore, CA

Basement seepage, failed sumps and water through the slab are extracted and dried, and the path from the ground is found so the floor stays dry next season. The path from the ground is named first: through the wall, up through the slab, back through a drain, or from a sump that stopped. The space is extracted and dried, with the porous materials the water touched removed, and the delivery is addressed, because a dried floor only stays dry if the water stops arriving.

Often needed alongside

  • Structural Drying & Dehumidification

Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.

  • Emergency Water Extraction

Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.

  • Mold Inspection & Testing

An independent assessor confirms whether the assembly that got wet is actually dry, whether growth started while it was not, and how far it reaches.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to ground like this when it gets wet?

It collapses on itself. Dry desert soils can hold an open structure with a lot of air in them, held together by the very fact that they are dry. Water breaks those bonds down, and the soil compacts into a smaller volume. Anything sitting on it drops with it, and it does not come back up.

How does that show up in a house?

As a slab that has moved in one area. Doors bind, cracks open in the floor or across a wall, and the pattern points toward wherever water has been going into the ground, which is usually a leaking line, a downspout discharging at one point, or irrigation against the foundation.

Does fixing the leak stop it?

It stops it getting worse, which matters. The soil that has already collapsed will not lift again on its own, so the movement to date is permanent, but the process only continues while water keeps arriving. Finding and stopping the source is the first thing any repair should be built on.
