Groundwater & Basement Water Intrusion in Corona, CA
Basement seepage, failed sumps and water through the slab are extracted and dried, and the path from the ground is found so the floor stays dry next season. The path from the ground is named first: through the wall, up through the slab, back through a drain, or from a sump that stopped. The space is extracted and dried, with the porous materials the water touched removed, and the delivery is addressed, because a dried floor only stays dry if the water stops arriving.

Often needed alongside
- Structural Drying & Dehumidification
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Mold Inspection & Testing
An independent assessor confirms whether the assembly that got wet is actually dry, whether growth started while it was not, and how far it reaches.
Frequently asked questions
A line failed under the slab. How far does the floor come up?
As far as the water ran, which under a floating floor is usually further than the visible edge. Water spreads across the slab beneath the underlayment and stops only where the slab changes level or a door sill blocks it. The floor is lifted to that line so the concrete can be read and dried, then the extent of replacement is decided.
The air here is dry. Does that make drying faster?
It does, and it is the one real advantage. With about 11 inches of rain a year and warm summers, outdoor air can take moisture readily, so an opened assembly releases water quickly. The risk is the opposite one: surfaces feel dry to the hand while the framing behind them is not, so the decision comes off meter readings rather than touch.
Does the stucco have to be opened after an interior loss?
Usually not from outside. Stucco over frame holds water in its base coat and at the weep screed, but it drains and dries outward on its own. What matters is the sill plate and the bottom of the cavity behind it, which are read from the interior side after the drywall is cut back, and dried there.
