Structural Drying & Dehumidification in Peoria, AZ
Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material. The wet area is sealed, air movers and dehumidifiers run as one system, and the material is read at marked points every day against a dry standard from an unaffected room. The equipment leaves on the readings rather than on a date, and the final readings are logged so the rebuild starts on a documented dry structure.

Often needed alongside
- Emergency Water Extraction
Standing water is pumped and extracted around the clock, before it climbs the walls and soaks the subfloor. Same-day response where coverage allows.
- Mold Inspection & Testing
An independent assessor confirms whether the assembly that got wet is actually dry, whether growth started while it was not, and how far it reaches.
Frequently asked questions
The ceiling dried out overnight. Why is it still being replaced?
Because drying and surviving are different questions. Paper-faced board that took water from an attic line has usually lost its strength along the wet run whatever the meter now says, and a ceiling is holding its own weight plus insulation. Where the board is sound and reads dry it stays; where it sagged or softened it comes out regardless.
What is the realistic schedule for a July ceiling loss?
Frequently three or four days, which is quick, and the attic does most of it. What takes the remaining time is the wet insulation, which has to be pulled and replaced, and the top plates of any wall the water ran down. Those are read through the ceiling opening rather than assumed to have dried with everything else.
Why open a wall at all when everything dries so fast outside?
Because the cavity is not outside. Dry air works on surfaces it can reach, and a closed stud bay with insulation in it is not one of them. A small opening low on the wall lets the bay be read and air moved through it. In this climate that opening is often needed for a day or two, not a week.
