Mold Removal & Remediation in Burlington, NJ

Growth and the material it grew into come out under containment, what remains is cleaned, and the assembly is dried and read before anything closes it in. The area is sealed and put under negative air, affected porous material comes out, and what remains is cleaned and treated. The assembly is then dried and read to the same standard as any water loss before it is closed, because remediation over a still-wet assembly puts the same growth back behind new drywall.

No obligation: the assessment comes before any scope

Remediation here is the tail of a water job: growth is what an unfinished drying leaves behind, and removing it without finishing the drying puts it back. The contractor establishes how far the growth extends and what moisture is still feeding it, removes what grew, and dries and reads the assembly before it is closed. The service note below covers the sequence in this city.

Often needed alongside

  • Mold Inspection & Testing

An independent assessor confirms whether the assembly that got wet is actually dry, whether growth started while it was not, and how far it reaches.

  • Structural Drying & Dehumidification

Sealed air movers and dehumidifiers bring framing, subfloor and drywall back to a measured dry standard, with daily readings logged from inside the material.

Frequently asked questions

The heating stopped and the floor is warm in one place. What is happening?

That combination usually means a loop in the slab has failed. Water is escaping into the concrete rather than circulating, which is why the system has lost pressure and why one area of floor is warm. It is a subslab leak that has probably been running quietly for some time, and the slab beneath is wet through.

Can the pipe in the floor be repaired?

Rarely in a way that lasts. Tracing a single failure in a cast-in loop means opening the floor, and a system old enough to fail once is likely to do it again elsewhere. The usual outcome is that the circuit is abandoned and a new heating system installed above the slab, which is a decision to make early.

How does the drying work once the loop is shut off?

Slowly, and from the top face only. Concrete that has been fed warm water for weeks is wet through its depth, so covering comes off, the surface is opened to air, and readings are taken over consecutive days. Two to three weeks is normal, and the building needs temporary heat through all of it in the cold half of the year.
